GEAR MATE 22 - GRABmeGROUNDSHEET - PREMIUM - 1.5 X 2 m
This is one of those items that once you have it, you find lots of uses for it.
Road side repairs in the dirt are still frustrating yet a little easier when you can layout your gear and tools in a dry clean place, free of dust or dirt.
Feel like an impromtu picnic at a magic spot? No worries, we have made it oversized so it is big enough to be a picnic blanket for 4 people.
Pulled up and need 2 clear acres to change Bub? Well here is another, easier option! :0). Also works great as a play mat for stops or their own 'special space' at camp.
When my Son was born (13 years ago) we had something similar sheet made up for him with our regular trips to the park; it has stayed in the car ever since and been a relationship saver at times!
For a common ground sheet, this is also gift worthy for that outdoorsy person you don't know what to get. When you see the yellow stitching against the Brunswick Green canvas, paired with brass eyelets, it is beautiful... It's price reflects the true value of retaining the making of premium quality goods in Australia so we can maintain continuing employment in our community and all enjoy the lifestyle we love.
If you're after a standard basic groundsheet / small tarp, there are many options available out there. This groundsheet is something special, made with care from the finest local materials possible; its a joy to use.
What we love about it:
- True, finished size of 1.5 x 2 m size
- Constructed from Australian Made, Dfab (VIC), Supaproof 15oz, Brunswick Green canvas
- Special signature yellow tread
- Double stitched seam for durability
- 40mm seam
- 8 x brass eyelets
- Made with pride in Perth, Western Australia
It can also be used as an emergency 'car bra' for the unexpected river or long grass crossing. Tie it up between and tree & vehicle for some extra shelter from rain, sun and wind. We'd love to hear what it gets used for, so please send us pics or tags us in posts, it makes our day! :0)
Over time the heavy duty canvas will soften and just get better with age. The more you use it, the more it will conform to what you place it on. When you first receive it, give it a gentle soak with the hose and allow it to dry in the shade. Repeat every now and then to keep in good condition.
